I tried changing the template to the archive page and that's the error I get...it comes up to a white page and the entire page fills with those two lines. This also happened when I wanted to go back to the default newsbit.

I'm running 1.3.0 unmodified.

Since the cache isn't working for you, you'll have to turn off the auto-cache update in the settings, which is triggered when you update templates.

Errors like this really make me wonder if maybe the settings for the location of UNP are off, such as missing the final /. :/
